Neverwinter lays out its roadmap for the remainder of 2026 and into early 2027

Just because we’re cruising into fall soon doesn’t mean that it’s too late in the year for an informative MMO roadmap! So it’s good to see that Cryptic’s sharing some of its plans for Neverwinter in the coming months with a simple chart.

Play Neverwinter for freeThe Dungeons & Dragons-themed MMORPG is currently in the Monoliths of Madness patch cycle, eying Harvester of Nightmares and Masquerade of Liars events for next month. Then Module 34 is coming later this year with a new trial, skirmish, an additional difficulty mode, and a revamp to queue and progression. There are events scheduled throughout the winter season as well.

Pressing into 2027, Cryptic was a bit more vague on this roadmap. The studio hinted at an item-level rebalance, class changes, new class roles, improvements to the UI, and updates to the Reaper challenge.
