With the throwback MMORPG Monsters & Memories readying to arrive to early access on Thursday, October 1st, the team at Niche Worlds Cult has made sure to put together an FAQ about what to expect and providing some important information for those who are willing to join in on the game’s next stage of development.

When the game’s world opens, players can expect a total of 28 zones, with outdoor zones, dungeons, and mini-dungeons included in that number, along a level 1-60 progression path. A total of nine races and 18 classes will be on offer, while later updates promise new zones, abilities, biomes, and bug fixes. There will be a total of five servers will be open — five in the U.S. and one in the EU — with more to be opened as need arises.

In terms of cost, MnM will not have a box price or in-game cash shop, but there will be a $15 monthly subscription fee required to continue playing the game so the studio can provide full service and customer support, pay its team, and accelerate development. There will not be any head start packages offered, and the team is working on a way to allow gift subscriptions to others. There are no plans for wipes after early access, and new servers for those who want to play at 1.0 have been confirmed.
