Camelot Unchained Update Reworks Stealth, Faith and Party UI

Unchained Entertainment’s Camelot Unchained development update, reported by MassivelyOP on October 17, pairs a broad class-balance pass with a visual and usability refresh to the RvR MMO’s interface. The balance work aims to improve parity between existing archetypes, while the UI changes target readability, performance, customization, and appearance.

The combination affects both combat rules and the information available during group play. The update also includes gathering, NPC, and keep-capture changes, adding several systems to review alongside the class adjustments. Recent combat, Scout, and siege changes are part of the game’s ongoing update coverage.

Class and system changes

  • Stealth: Moving while stealthed now slows movement.
  • Faith: The resource has been adjusted so it no longer appears effectively limitless.
  • Ability cooldowns: Some abilities that previously activated instantly now have short cooldowns, intended to reduce their burst potential.
  • Gathering: Certain nodes can be harvested more frequently, and additional harvesting nodes have been added to several zones.
  • NPCs and keeps: High-level elite NPCs are now immune to fear, while two keep-capture-point mechanics have been updated.

MassivelyOP notes that the update contains further class-specific adjustments beyond those broad changes. The report does not enumerate them, so the listed changes are not a complete accounting of the balance pass.

Interface and group information

The UI work is intended to make the interface easier to read and use, with better performance when players are in a party or warband. Hovering tooltips have also been improved, and party members who are in the Veil now have a visual indicator.

The toolbars received a polish pass, and the Ability Book now includes class passives. Those presentation changes sit alongside the combat revisions: the same update adjusts class behavior while making key party and ability information clearer.

The patch’s range makes the granular class notes the next detail to check for players tracking specific archetypes. Separately, recent server and technical updates provide context for the game’s continuing development.
