As it barrels through beta testing and heads toward Steam early access later this year, ArcheAge Chronicles has quite the job on its hands to convince MMO players — and fans of this bumpy franchise — to give this sequel a shot.
That’s presumably the thinking behind a new three-minute video that offers a quick tour of Auroria, ArcheAge Chronicles’ setting, and hints of some of its systems. By watching, you can get a sense of the game’s questing, puzzle solving, caravanning, trading, and (of course) combat.
ArcheAge Chronicles originally began its life as ArcheAge 2 and is set to be published by XL Games. This MMO is not to be confused with Kakao’s recently announced ArcheAge S: Strait of Freedom project, which aims to “modernize the classic series” and hit PCs in 2027.
