Solarpunk Life-Sim MMO ‘Loftia’ Launches in Early Access November 3 for PC

Qloud Games has announced that its solarpunk life-sim MMO Loftia will enter Early Access on November 3, 2026, for PC and Mac via Steam and the Epic Games Store, for $29.99, with a 17% introductory discount.

Loftia has been in production for four years. Its Kickstarter campaign raised $1.3 million from approximately 17,000 backers, followed by closed Alpha and Beta testing. 

Michael Su, Co-Founder and Studio Director of Qloud Games, said the following:

We wanted a relaxing online world we could escape to with our friends – a third space with a welcoming community, things to do, and a home we could keep on coming back to,” says Michael Su, Co-Founder and Studio Director of Qloud Games. “What we never expected was how many people around the world were looking for the same thing. Loftia has grown alongside our community from the very beginning, and reaching Early Access feels like the culmination of a four-year marathon, and the beginning of a new chapter.

Loftia focuses on cooperative activities and shared community development. Players inhabit floating islands where they can build homes, farm, rescue animals, and work together on larger projects.

Several systems draw on sustainability concepts, including renewable energy, hydroponics, recycling, and ecology. Players can live alongside one another in neighborhoods and contribute to projects that affect their shared surroundings.

Groups complete timed activities involving platforming, puzzles, exploration, and tasks that require players to work together.

The team also adjusted character customization, farming, and social features throughout development based on feedback from the game’s testing community. Qloud Games plans to continue expanding Loftia during Early Access with additional areas, activities, stories, social systems, and community-focused content.
