NC (formerly NCSOFT) is opening the door for a fresh start in Lineage II with a new live server. It’s the first time the game will be receiving a completely new Live server in more than a decade. A chance to begin again in a world that has been around for more than 22 years.
When is the Lineage II new live server launching?
It lands on September 15th, 2026. Pre-registration is already available, and players who sign up ahead of the launch can pick up several items for free. The rewards include a Greater Rune Stone, an A-Grade Challenge Ticket, and a large selection of useful consumables.
The new server will also give players plenty of long-term progression goals. Reaching Level 110 will reward you with the Ruler’s Authority Belt, while Level 111 comes with a +5 Queen Navari’s Mask. And if you make it to Level 112, you’ll receive either Gran Kain’s Necklace or Einhasad’s Necklace.
The rewards continue at the higher levels, with Level 113 offering either Sayha’s Ring or Maphr’s Ring. You get a choice between Pa’agrio’s Earring and Eva’s Earring at Level 114. Anyone who manages to reach Level 115 can earn a +30 Limited Krishna Weapon.
NC is also planning several events to go along with the Lineage II live server launch. First, you’ll receive a 500% EXP Boost. The Vitality Maintaining Event will prevent vitality from being consumed while hunting monsters or taking down bosses.
There will also be a Ranking Event for players competing for the top spots. The top 100 players will receive special rewards. The one who finishes in first place will get a Dragon Weapon Lv. 2. On top of that, the Virtual Equipment Point Expansion will allow you to fully equip your characters through the Virtual Equipment System.
The new Lineage II Live server will follow the same content schedule as the existing live servers. For the full details on the launch, watch this YouTube video below by the devs. Also, don’t forget to pre-register via the official website.
